for instance - with gene therapy - I maintain that it's only to our advantage to improve ourselves, and as we journey into space and (hopefully) other worlds in our galaxy, we need to make our selves tougher, fitter, more resilient and FAR more adaptable, for that we need to do some SERIOUS biological retro fitting, now I'm not saying we need to give our selves tails or the ability to digest cellulose, but improvements to our visual acuity, genetic diseases - and the possibility of extending our life spans to possible 1
